So, what did I learn? Dreams don’t work unless YOU do. I learned that investing in myself and in my future requires hard work. When I first started my blog, I didn’t realize the amount of work and time spent behind it. I am still acquiring new things as I go! So far, it has been a little challenging trying to find balance between work and my personal life, but you know what? I am doing what I LOVE! I also learned that building relationships and a strong community is valuable and should be mutually beneficial. They also talked about developing and creating a personal brand, but staying true and authentic to yourself at the same time. This advice was beneficial for me because by staying true to myself, I am able to discover my purpose and capable of following through and reaching my goals with blogging. I left the conference feeling confident, ready to work and tackle on new challenges. Today, I’d like to leave you with a positive reminder in hopes that you will utilize it one day : No matter what you do, keep it honest, simple, and most importantly, keep it YOU. <3
